Chasing the Adventure of True Manhood – Bill Farrel

October 12, 2012

I listened to an interview with Bill Farrel on Focus on the Family, broadcast on October 3, 2012.

Bill and Pam Farrel have written several books on marriage, and have been frequent guests on several radio programs.

They have a very down to earth conversational style that delivers their message effectively.

In this interview, Bill talks about how men should be encouraged to take on big risks, rather than settle for mediocrity.

My Journey Through Depression – Tommy Nelson

I listened to an interview on Focus on the Family with Tommy Nelson.

Tommy is the lead pastor at Denton Bible Church, in Denton, Texas.  Tommy was busy doing many things he loved, until one day in May, 2006.  He just crashed.  He couldn’t function.  He suffered from clinical depression.  It took him four months to be able to return to the pulpit.

This is an encouraging story.
